I’d like to introduce you to a new podcast called ETFs for Beginners. My co-host is Ana Kresina. She’s much better on Instagram than me and you can follow us there by going to @etfsforbeginners. ETFs deserve their own podcast. They can represent a different style of investing altogether, or they can be part of portfolio that includes both individual shares and ETFs. Either way there’s a lot to talk about. I’m also enjoying working with Ana who is a devotee of long term boring compounding investing. She also doesn’t break Instagram the way I would. https://play.acast.com/s/etfs-for-beginnersWe are excited to be publishing our first episode with an actual guest! Jessica Leung from Betashares. In this episode Jessica explains how one of the best ways to start out with ETFs is with a broad market cap weighted index. So you're essentially getting the market, the whole of the ASX 200. She also explained why she decided to create content on social media, to raise awareness of financial literacy. Who better to speak in this space than a person actually managing an ETF themselves. You can find her in Instagram and TikTok via @theleungwayHere's a link to a recent article from Jessica about the ESG revolution: https://www.betashares.com.au/insights/the-esg-revolution/Jessica is a member of the portfolio management team at BetaShares. Prior to joining BetaShares, Jessica worked within the Systematic Equities Portfolio Management team at Macquarie Investment Management. Jessica is a CFA Charterholder and has a Bachelor degree in Actuarial Studies and a Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.ETFs for Beginners is for information and educational purposes only. It isn’t financial advice, and you shouldn’t buy or sell any investments based on what you’ve heard here.
