Kalani Artis - All Hands in the Pie

from Homebrewed: An Australian Music Podcast

Kalani Artis has been on our radar for a little while now. We exchanged messages back and forth for a couple of months before finally teeing up time for a chat at Sonora Studios. While Kalani is relatively new to us, he's been making music in and around The Central Coast for years. After a bit of time away from recording and playing live, Kalani is back and more determined than ever to build a proper career out of his art; and he wants to bring as many people with him as he can. Kalani Artis and his band will be making a return to live performance September 18th at Mumbo Jumbo's, Terrigal. Don't miss it. Thanks for listening! Be sure to subscribe for more content. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
