Der grönländische Eisschild schmilzt durch die Erderwärmung. Dabei sinkt seine Oberkante in wärmere Luftschichten und der Schwund beschleunigt sich von selbst, irgendwann ist die Veränderung unumkehrbar. Ein solches sich selbst verstärkendes Ereignis bezeichnet die Klimaforschung als "Kipppunkt". In Exeter, im Südwesten Englands, findet eine globale Kipppunkt-Konferenz statt. Forschende sprechen dort über Risiken, aber auch über sogenannte positive Kipppunkte. Toralf Staud, freier Autor für ZEIT ONLINE und DIE ZEIT, ist bei der Konferenz und hat zu dem Thema Kipppunkte ein Buch geschrieben. Im Podcast erklärt er, was alles hinter dem Begriff steckt und wie es gelingen kann, mehr positive Kipppunkte auszulösen. Offiziell gilt der Krieg zwischen dem Iran und Israel als beendet. Im Land selbst richtet sich die Repression nun vor allem gegen kritische Stimmen und religiöse Minderheiten. Augenzeugen berichten von mehreren Hinrichtungen, Hunderten Festnahmen und dem Vorwurf der Spionage. Besonders stark im Visier: Jüdinnen und Juden sowie Mitglieder der Glaubensgemeinschaft der Bahai. Omid Rezaee, Volontär bei ZEIT ONLINE, schreibt über die aktuelle Lage im Iran. Im Podcast analysiert er, warum ausgerechnet religiöse Minderheiten zur Zielscheibe werden.  Und sonst so?
