Kyle Schwarber on Phillies struggles helping postseason push

Kyle Schwarber has provided Phillies fans many memorable moments since he signed a four-year contract in March 2022. Schwarber hit three home runs in a big comeback win on Tuesday against the Blue Jays. He hit a leadoff homer in Wednesday’s victory against the Blue Jays, tying Alfonso Soriano for the most leadoff homers in a season in MLB history with 13. Schwarber offered insight about his personal successes and failures as a player, what makes this Phillies team so close, why the team’s midseason struggles could help them in the postseason and how growing up in a household of first responders shaped him as a person.
