Local clubs equally to blame for Bafana Bafana’s decline: Jonty mark

For the past 15 years, Football Editor at The Citizen Jonty Mark has been covering professional football in South Africa and feels that local clubs should share the blame for the lack of quality at Bafana Bafana. Mark says Bafana’s decline has got everything to do with some Premier Soccer League (PSL) not taking the CAF club competitions serious. With the exception of Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, no other local teams have shown serious intentions of excelling on the continental tournaments.
