We also hope you had a great Easter Sunday. Let's get ready to learn! Here's the news: - Applications are open for membership of YEP, also known as Youth Engagement In Philanthropy. Applications are due by the 15th of April and spots are limited. This is open to all high school students in Kane & Kendall County. Take part in this exciting opportunity provided by the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley. To apply visit the website here: https://www.cffrv.org/profile/youth-engagement-in-philanthropy-grantmaking-fund/ - Saturday, April 15th from 8 am to noon join the Fox Valley Park District and many other fantastic organizations for the annual community cleanup service project. All participants will meet at the Cole Center, located at 101 W. Illinois avenue. The cleanup itself will encompass both banks of the Fox River close to downtown. Many great organizations will take part, for more information email: [email protected] - Our partners of the Quad County Urban League have great ongoing programming available for Aurora area students and youth. Learn about Nicor, Comed & Solar Training program initiatives that can change lives and propel youth into a bright new future.
