Monte Barnard (Casting Metal)

A conversation about no longer being in a touring band, the local Portland craft beer scene, what inspired him start his podcast Casting Metal, the creation of his no bullshit news site & his worst days on the road. We recorded this episode at the Belmont Station in Portland Oregon and we drank a delectable Hazy RyePA called Solar Oath by Modern Times Beer. Beer of the Week My beer of the week was the very first Vox&Hops themed beer which was brewed by Jamie Morris called Lotz of Hopz which was a delicious double dry hopped double Ipa. The hops used were cryo citra, chinook & mosiac along with wheat and malt & a California yeast. I was completely blown away and had no idea that this beer was coming. I was floored and extremely grateful to say the least.
