The Podcast: Never Stop Reading: The Series Chang Gang Welcome to my podcast, The Podcast: Never Stop Reading: The Series. In this podcast, we will discuss how novels inspire and dissuade us. We will learn about real-world imagery and fantasy that books can portray. I will read old books, new series, and the classics. I want this to be a place where people have fun and understand the greatness of life through reading, through books and through history. Thank you and I hope you enjoy the Never Stop Reading podcast hosted by your truly Chang Gang. {Be aware of audio and voice quality, should resolve itself as I grow and learn more about podcasting.} Mrs. Adams's Humanities Class Kathie Adams Reading makes your life richer. Michael Kohlhaas (English Translation) Heinrich von Kleist Michael Kohlhaas is an 1811 novella by Heinrich von Kleist, based on a 16th-century story of Hans Kohlhase. Both the theme (a fanatical quest for justice) and the style (existentialist detachment posing as a chronicle) are surprisingly modern. They resonated with other writers more than a century after it was written. Kafka devoted one of only two public appearances in his whole life to reading passages from Michael Kohlhaas. Kafka said that he "could not even think of" this work "without being moved to tears and enthusiasm." (Introduction by Wikipedia)
