Senator Nabilah Islam from Georgia State joins us today to discuss why she dove into politics. As she profoundly states, “If you’re not at the table, you’re on the menu,” and is both the youngest member of the Georgia State Senate as well as the first Muslim women in this important governing body. As a minority community in America (just 3%!) Muslim Americans literally cannot afford to ignore gun control in America like yesterday. @everytownusa is doing the research the government is NOT ALLOWED to do because of the powerful gun lobbies that don’t want Americans to have the real numbers about gun violence in America.

These are deplorable numbers and as voters and taxpayers (over 81% of Muslim American are citizens in this nation; source: Pew Research Center) we say, “NOT WITH MY MONEY!”Learn what permitless carry is, and what it’s being sold as by state legislatures and governors signing executive orders to bring guns into hands without background checks, blocking red flag laws, and worse.
