Nina Varsava on Precedent

In this episode, Nina Varsava, Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Wisconsin Madison Law School, discusses her essay "Precedent on Precedent," which will be published in the University of Pennsylvania Law Review Online. Varsava begins by explaining what happened in the recent Supreme Court case Ramos v. Louisiana (2020), and how it reflects the differing views of the Supreme Court justices on the nature of constitutional precedent.
