NJC's Ally Murphy & Dr Jen Parker take questions on Menopause.

Thank you so much for tuning into this episode of Not Just Crew. Menopause is sill on of the biggest items in our postbag. The time has gone when this subject was only talked about with whispers, rumours and old wives tales and known as the ‘Change’ In the modern workplace and especially the UK flying industry (We would love to hear of your experiences in other cultures and nations) where airlines are really starting to take this subject seriously and offering support. Even so many woman feel as if they don’t have the support the need, and still have many questions they feel have been left unanswered. On the 23rd July 2024 NJC Presenters (Award winning Voice Artist) Ally Murphy and Dr Jen Parker set out to make a show dedicated to menopause and asked crew any questions They had. The response was very positive and on the 19th August 2024 we recorded the show and we had to select just a few of the questions with the time frame we had. We really wanted this to be a live show, but with Ally busy filming with a minus eight hour time difference from Seattle, and Jen with working full time in her new career as a doctor we had limited time to get these two amazing ladies together.
