Michelle Gonzalez is a retired Glendale Police Officer and talks about parenting teens and resources for parents.Michelle Gonzalez recently retired after 31 years of service with the Glendale Police Department as GPD's Explorer Coordinator and member of the Crisis Negotiation.Over the years she was assigned to Field Services, Investigative Services, SpecialInvestigations, and Community Outreach primarily focusing on youth advocacy andintervention.For 7 years she was part of investigating crimes of violence such as domestic violence,child abuse, and sex crimes. In 2003, she transferred to the Criminal Intelligence Unitand became a member of the Eurasian Organized Crime Taskforce.She has 13 years, of working with state and federal agencies putting together a large-scale criminal indictment.
