Quick Tip #50 Should I Be Focusing On Instagram Or The Work?

Picture this--You're at your desk getting hella work done. Your coffee is strong, you have some lo-fi beats playing in the background and your favorite candle is quietly flickering. You're operating in your zone of genius and you love it. As you're busy doing your thang, a thought pops up in your head--"shouldn't I be documenting this for Instagram? You kinda dismiss the thought because you're focused and enjoying the work. But the thought pops up again--Shouldn't I stop and create a Reel right quick?" And just like that the pressure sets in-- the pressure to always show up on Instagram no matter what. I used to stop what I was doing to get my Instagram on, but it was so hard to get back into my creative groove. So you know what I started doing? Only documenting or creating for social media when I felt inspired too. Algorithm be damned.  And guess what it's been a total game changer!
