In 1929, Gracie and husband George Burns, were asked to replace an unwell Fred Allen in a short film. I wanted to play the song “Do You Believe Me?” from that film, and I have it around here someplace, but I’ll be darned if I could find it, so you’re just gonna have to settle George Burns and Gracie Allen’s theme song, “Love Nest”.
