On this evening’s show we’re going to do some remembering. Today is Memorial Day, traditionally May 30, but in recent years observed on the last Monday of May. Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in service to the country. Enjoy the show! It asks all Americans at 3 p.m. local time on Memorial Day “To voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a Moment of remembrance and respect, pausing from whatever they are doing for a moment of silence or listening to ‘Taps.” I hope you will take the opportunity to do just that.
