Con Melanchthon, los almanaques astrológicos se volvieron pedagogía pública para ordenar trabajo, medicina y devoción, mientras la imprenta popularizaba un nuevo pulso de disciplina cotidiana. También recorremos la disputa por el calendario gregoriano, la “nocturnalización” urbana y el diario puritano, donde cada hora era examen del alma. Y, sobre todo, el gran telón apocalíptico: señales en los cielos, cronologías universales y un mundo “al borde de la eternidad”. Resultado: ansiedad y esperanza a partes iguales… y una Europa que aprendió a vivir contando.
