Relationships: Marriage (Plus a Discussion of Russia & Ukraine)

This is week five of our Relationships series. In this series we are looking at the life of Jacob and the way God redemptively used Jacob's relationships to bring about promise and deliverance for his people. In This Episode: Pastor Chris joins Brad as they take a deeper look at Genesis 29-30 and discuss Jacob's marriages with Leah and Rachel. But before their discussion of marriage, they spend a little time discussing the events of the past week as Russia invaded Ukraine. As Christians, how should we think about these events and what is there for us to do (or not do) in response? How should we think about and pray for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine and Russia? Actions included in the bible, especially OT narratives, does not equal endorsement of behavior. What does the bible say about marriage? How can we apply this story to our own regardless of relationship status?
