Relatively Speaking Podcast: The Tom Cruise concept show

The Relatively Speaking Podcast is back. Some might even say that it is back and better than ever. In fact, you can ask anyone about this specific edition of the Relatively Speaking Podcast, and you know what they would tell you? That the Relatively Speaking Podcast is back and better than ever! With college basketball happening around us, but with a special guest lined up to help preview the Final Four for our next episode, Jared and Joseph take a deep dive into one of the world's most important philosophical discussions -- what would Tom Cruise movies look like if another human had to star in any one of his movies instead of him? Renowned NBA writer Josh Eberley -- who came up with a similar question for Friday's show -- joins the Relatively Speaking Podcast to offer insight to this complicated discussion. Minutes, hours, days, years (for Jared) was spent researching this mind-boggling difficult discussion. With roughly eleventy-billion credits to his career, Tom Cruise is a juggernaut in the movie industry. Joseph was able to cut the list to Tom's 30-ish most notable roles, and the magic then happened. Listen as the trio of terrificness that is Josh, Jared and Joseph recast Tom Cruise movies. The kicker here is that only an actor from the era the movie was filmed in can star in the role. Who plays Maverick in Top Gun? What about Cocktail? So many tremendous movie roles, and only a few quality thespians to fill the void left by Tom. If you care not to hear such wonderful insight, you should at the very least come for the creepy segment music. And, friends, it is very creepy. Josh is on Twitter @JoshEberley. Jared is also there @JMintzHoops. Unfortunately, so is the other guy @JosephNardone.
