Residents press officials on proposed police merger

Questions about cost, control and community identity dominated a Feb. 19 town hall as Perry City officials outlined a proposal to merge the city’s police department with Tremonton and Garland. “It’s far from a done deal for us, despite what some may think,” Mayor Kevin Jeppsen said at the outset of the meeting.
