Summary

Venari Hallerman (Rogue Trader) – John Kynnoch (Navigator) – Jesse Jarnan Morgun (Missionary) – Jon Emmaus Kore (Void Master) – Kevin GM – Neil Venari spend some time shmoozing with the troops and finds out that morale is good. In the morning the crew heads out in the shuttle to see if they can find any trace of Kayne. Scanning the dense forest doesn’t turn up anything but Venari happens to catch the glint of metal in a crevasse in the mountains nearby. Refocusing their scanning efforts in that area reveals a cavern system located behind a waterfall reaching back into the mountain. The glint of metal, the crew believes, most likely is a solar power generator along with some cloaking technology. The crew debates possible options as Venari peruses the manifest of stolen equipment and reaches the stunning conclusion that Kayne may have over a hundred well armed and armored xenos fighters. Emmaus suggests trying to contact Kayne using a multiband transmission. Somewhat surprisingly Kayne answers and it’s clear that he has gone quite literally insane. He calls Venari a heretic, Much to Jarnan’s chagrin, and says that he wants to convert the xenos and lift them up.
