S1, E8: Artificial Intelligence & Technology and Their Implications on Fairness & Bias + More!

We finally talked about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Tech in the eighth episode of "The Haleakalan" Podcast. The use of those two things are skyrocketing in the status quo, and its implications on fairness and bias are a blessing, yet also a curse. Although AI is great and the world gets largely safer through its use, there are justice issues that are created through the use of AI. The controversial debates about what to do with the analysis of historical data were discussed heavily during this podcast. The facial and structural recognition of a person through AI was also touched on, but we had to avoid the logistical things about this topic, because we aren't really that qualified. We also discussed three possible scenarios in which AI could be utilized, while taking into consideration ethics and morality.
