SFS Minute 931: Boring Work

Professionals do things differently from amateurs, and this week, I am talking about some of those distinctions. I want you to keep score throughout the week and see how many of the five apply to you to help determine how close to a professional you are or how close to an amateur you are. This will apply to your business life, your personal relationships, absolutely anything. I'll have one of the personality traits of professionals right after this. Amateurs enjoy the exciting parts of business, the exciting parts of life, the big decisions, the new ideas. Unfortunately, that's not all that there is. There is also boring work that no one wants to get done but has to be done. Professionals do it without complaint. This is one of the reasons I'm concerned about Gen Z. They complain when they don't like the work. Professionals do the work, even if it's boring.
