今回は千葉県長南町、田中牧場の田中隆和さんからメッセージが届きました。酪農発祥の千葉県における酪農家の減少状況、現在も続く経営赤字の要因、コスト削減のために取り組まれていること、酪農新規就農者や後継者育成のため、実習の受け入れもされている点などについて語られていました。またスタジオには、古河電気工業(株)研究開発本部・地産地承エネルギープロジェクトチーム長・兼、サステナブルテクノロジー研究所・新領域育成部長の福嶋將行さん、研究開発本部・地産地承エネルギープロジェクトチームの留目雅明さん、ものづくり改革本部・設備部・設備革新部副部長の櫻井竜介さんをゲストにお迎えしました。社会のインフラを支えるものをつくられている企業としての新たな取り組みとして開発された、家畜のふん尿から新しいエネルギーを創出する技術について注目し、このプロジェクトを始められた背景、地域の方々が求めるものを知るために足を運ばれたエピソードなどについてお話頂きました。古河電気工業(株)の皆さんには、次回5月12日もご出演頂きます。
