Welcome to Episode 149!  This week saw us lose another icon.   She taught us what love's got to do with it.  She told us about rivers deep and mountains high.  She was a private dancer to some and an Acid Queen to many. And you Better Be Good To [her] because she's Simply The Best.  If you haven't guessed (or heard?), Tina Turner passed away leaving a legacy of music, strength, and advocacy.

This week, The Boys are remembering and honoring the legend-- Tina Turner, The Queen of Rock n' Roll.  Tina has had several health issues in recent years but it did not hold her back from helping to create the Tony-award winning musical, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical and a documentary, Tina now streaming on Max.  Mark & Casey are discussing some of the lesser known facts and details of Tina Turner and revisiting some of her triumphs.  It's a thoughtful and fun look at the icon of many communities including the LGBTQIA+ community. Tina was (in Mark & Casey's opinion) Simply The Best.

The Boys are getting you caught up in this week's Pick-Up from holiday preparations to times with friends, to self-care.  It's a good week for Trash Talk as Mark & Casey are discussing a recent study about the most closeted state in the United States, a roommate disagreement over a microwavable favorite ends in cuffs, and more!  And of course - Casey & Mark are giving us a recommendation for the week.

This one's got it all -- laughter, tears, thoughtfulness, discourse, and of course, faggotry (as you've come to expect from Painted Trash). So fill up that chilled port vintage to welcome in June, grab your colors, and get ready because it's time to paint!
