ASU's special teams in 2025 were indeed special. On the positive side, Jesus Gomez was a clutch game-winning kicker. On the other hand, the punting and penalties were consistent issues. Add in Charlie Ragle's midseason medical leave, and it made for quite a year.

Jack Nudo took the reins from Ragle in October, and in January, was made the permanent special teams coordinator. A rising star in the profession, and a Valley native from a football family, Nudo has brought in some new faces to make the special teams a strength this fall.
