This week we have friend of the label, all round top guy and the guy that hooked us up many a tasty premiere. It's Jonna the label owner of City Fly & Mysterious Works. He's produced exquisite music on BBE, Flat White Records, Intimate Friends, Lumberjacks in Hell, R2, Shadeleaf, The Groove Stage. He's about to drop one of his most ambitious projects to date; 'City Fly's 'Fly Family Vol.1' dropping exclusively on Traxsource on 17/02/20 & everywhere else from 02/03/20. The album is drenched in deep, soul flecked bombs ranging from the jazzy hip-hop intro of Cologne's Ugly Drums who teams up with Detroit MC :brownstudy to the heads down, no nonsense 'Warehouse Shit' from Simbad. The project brings together familiar faces that have previously released on the label like Kez YM and Lay-Far alongside some of their favourite new producers like Javonntte, Felipe Gordon & NY*AK (who will be releasing a full artist EP shortly after) who join the Fly Family! We've already premiered a couple of tracks off this LP in our radio shows it's that good.
