Up this week is a good friend of SB; a label and man that has hooked us up with many a tasty premiere and a fellow lover of that dusty lo-slung house sound. Moment Cinetique are a Deep/House/Disco record label hailing from Sheffield, who will soon be celebrating their second birthday. Over the last two years they have put out tracks by a close group of emerging producers such as Intr0Beatz, Kolja Gerstenberg, Cleanfield, Reece Johnson and established names including Cody Currie, Tilman and Felipe Gordon, with these releases featuring in sets, mixes and charts by DJs like Detroit Swindle, Luke Solomon, Fouk and many more. In March they release their fourth vinyl EP from up & coming London based DJ/Producer Last Nubian featuring remixes from Harry Wolfman and Carlo. Then in the new future there is a remix package coming out from Sweet Fruity Brunch and Selva featuring new remixes by Vagabundo Club Social and Kevin Over. Djing wise owner Dave Platts plays out under the label name with a mixture of dusty house, deep, disco, edits and vodka Red Bull. The mix is a mashup of tracks by label artists from other labels, a couple of unreleased tracks and includes the two remixes from Moment Cinetique's upcoming vinyl release.
