SN 126. Why Direct Sales Is Harder Than Ever, And What To Do About It.

from Elevate Your Direct Sales Business with Kelly Northcott · host Kelly Northcott

It’s harder than ever for direct sellers to build a successful business, especially for the direct seller who is building a part-time business, and most direct sellers aren’t seeing the sales or growth they used to. This decline in numbers is mainly because there’s a serious training gap in the industry.Direct sales is a simple business, but it isn’t a skill-less business. You can’t copy and paste your way to success, and posting more content won’t change your numbers because the algorithm was never designed to help you build a business. I used to say that direct sellers don’t need more training; they need more doing. However, I now believe that direct sellers are undertrained and underpracticed. In this episode, I walk you through three common scenarios of direct sellers at different stages of their businesses. What worked in their first 90 days, during the pandemic, or ten years ago no longer works. Your company will train you on its products and programs. Your upline will train you on what works for her. Most paid programs are created for leaders and big business builders. If you want to build a fun side business and your goals or style are different than your upline’s, you’re forced to figure things out for yourself by trying to mimic what other people do or through piecemeal training. I’ve come up with a solution for this problem—a new program called The Side Gig Society. Everything about it was designed with the side hustler in mind, from the content and how it’s delivered to the price. At the end of the episode, I highlight what’s special about The Side Gig Society, how it’s different from other programs out there, why it works, who it is and isn’t for, and how to become a part of it. If you’re ready to build a fun, profitable business that fits into your life instead of taking over your life, this is for you.Click here for more information and to sign up. https://www.kellynorthcott.com/societyRESOURCES:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kellydnorthcottGet your questions answered on the podcast: ask them by filling out this formFree Facebook Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/directsalesworkshops Learn more about my programs: https://www.kellynorthcott.com/learn
