Spectral Dance

from John Dyhouse · host John Dyhouse

Although my oringinal reason for asking for a guitar for an xmas present from my parents was inspiration provided by The Shadows (a UK guitar group in the 60's); I never did become a composer. I found writing lyrics much more satisfying although I came up with some very satisfying tunes for the songs. And although I did grow up with a piano in the dining room, I did not realy learn to play with more than one finger (on each hand, LOL). However I did record a few simple tunes, and when my son became interested in keyboards, I borrowed them to record some of those tunes. All very poor and noisy tape recordings via poor amplifiers. I have actually included some of these in a playlist/album called, "The Coming Of The Keyboards" now posted on SoundCloud. I also have a playlst/album of some digital recordings, also on Soundcloud. I was taking a break from songs before moving on to the third volume of my lyric notebooks. I indulged some old memories and uploaded a 30 second audio clip. Wrote a prompt, tried it out and refined it a few times. This is the result. Maybe it could be better but here it is anyway. Hope you find it worth listening to, I must admit I like it. Couldn't do it without Suno's help however. There are other instrumantal offerings I have uploaded over the past half year, but I am not naming them. I have some unposted tracks, which could come later, but for now enjoy.
