Sports Backroom #3: Bill Rexford

In this episode of "The Sports Backroom," host Ty Coulter tells the story of the 1950 NASCAR Champion Bill Rexford. Coulter tells how a 23-year old from New York became one of the first champions of the southern sport. He also answers the questions of what racing promoter told Rexford to join NASCAR, why Rexford's career came to a quick close and what puts an asterisk on his championship. Finally, Coulter gives his thoughts as to why Bill Rexford, by all measures, should not be in The Sports Backroom.
