SWCP Episode 2: Are We Finally Getting That Obi-Wan Film?

from Star Wars Canon Podcast · host Star Wars Canon Podcast

It's a jam-packed week for Star Wars news! Brian Miller and Christopher Stolle are breaking it down for you on this week's episode of the SWCP.  News -First Reactions To "Solo: A Star Wars Story" -Jon Favreau's Live-Action Series Gets A Time Period Confirmation -An Obi-Wan Announcement May Be Right Around The Corner  Mailbag Questions: 1.) (42:50) Tina Borche - How do you think people are going to react to the Han Solo film after seeing TLJ? Do you think some of the people who hated TLJ will like Solo? Or vice-versa (people who loved TLJ may hate Solo). Thoughts?  2.) (48:40) Jay Radmore - Why are people who have not seen "Solo" telling people who HAVE seen the film that their positive reviews don't matter? Why is it every time someone say they like one of the new SW films people scream that that reviewer is bought out by Disney? I'm almost embarrassed to be a SW fan now a days because of people like that. What are your thoughts on these people just being haters, but claiming to still be SW fans?  3.) (53:56) Mason Steinhall - What are some characters and events you would like to see appear in the comics? Personally, I'd love to see more about what Ahsoka was up to between when she left the Jedi Order and we see her reappear in Rebels. Love everything you're doing. Love the new format. I listened to this weeks episode while at work and it made the morning go faster. Keep it up!  4.) (1:00:36) Adam Fisher - First let me say I really like your channel a lot. A lot of the other channels I found talking about the new canon were comparing it to the old EU. I just wanted a channel that focused solely on the new canon, and I found it here. I know you are a fan of the new canon, but if there was one thing you would remove from it and pretend it never happened, what would it be and why? Love the channel. You have a loyal subscriber here. Can't wait to see where you go in the future.  5.) (1:11:11) Dustin Stephens - As far as video games are concerned do you think we could ever see a "build your own adventure" type game in the future? Maybe in the vein of what TellTale does with their games? I'd love to have a choice-based Star Wars game. Even maybe something like the "Knights Of The Old Republic" games where certain decisions made you either light side or dark side and affected the outcome of the game? Love your channel, been following since you did the video on Rey's possible lineage a couple years ago.  Original score composed by Brook Munro LIKE on Facebook at: www.facebook.com/starwarscanonlibrary FOLLOW on Spotify SUBSCRIBE on iTunes SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube channel E-MAIL me at: [email protected]
