Edison Herrera técnico de seguimiento de Control Minero en la Agencia de Regulación y Control Minero (Arcom), participo de la capacitación en la Brigada de Fuerzas Especiales Patria. “Me llamo Édison Herrera, soy funcionario técnico de Arcom Riobamba, que maneja las provincias de Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Tungurahua y Pastaza, el objetivo de esta capacitación para nosotros es muy importante, porque somos la gente que estamos presentes en las cuestiones de las labores mineras, especialmente en la minería ilegal que se ha convertido en un problema a nivel nacional, esta capacitación esta direccionada a supervivencia, artes marciales de defensa personal, embarque y desembarque de helicópteros que es de mucha importancia porque hay lugares donde el vehículo no llega y este medio nos facilita para hacer nuestra labor, esta capacitacin beneficiara tanto a nosotros los funcionarios como al Estado para erradicar la minería ilegal”.
