Textbook srpski VS pravi srpski - beginner (A1-B1.1)

from Unlock your Serbian · host Nevena & Jelena

U ovoj epizodi pričamo o tome kako Srbi stvarno govore srpski jezik. If you want to listen to the longer version of this episode, read the transcript, have vocabulary lists and grammar exercises, consider becoming a member of the Unlock your Serbian community on Patreon.Join our group calls taking place every Saturday at 5 pm CET by becoming a Patron: https://www.patreon.com/c/UnlockYourSerbianBook a Serbian lesson with Jelena or Nevena on our website (unlockyourserbian.com)Follow us on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube!Nevena (00:00) Zdravo svima, ja sam Nevena.  Hello everyone, I’m Nevena.Jelena (00:02) Ja sam Jelena.  I’m Jelena.Nevena (00:03) I dobro došli u novu epizodu Unlock Your Serbian sa Jelenom i Nevenom. And welcome to a new episode of Unlock Your Serbian with Jelena and Nevena.Jelena (00:08) Tako je. Dobro došli u još jednu epizodu našeg podcasta i danas razgovaramo o srpskom jeziku. Razgovaramo kako učimo srpski jezik i kako Srbi stvarno pričaju srpski jezik. That's right. Welcome to another episode of our podcast and today we are talking about the Serbian language. We are talking about how we learn Serbian and how Serbs actually speak the Serbian language. When we have Serbian language lessons, we often have to explain new words. So, we have to say what the new words mean, and we often see words that people in Serbian people don't use in everyday life. That is, they don't use them when talking with friends or family in Serbia. For example, in books we often see the word "onde" instead of "tamo". "Tamo" means far from us, so something that is not here, something that is not close. But in books, it often says "onde". We rarely use the word "onde".Send us your questions!
