The Champion Mindset: Hold nothing back when it counts.

from AGEIST · host David Stewart

How do you become a champion? What is the champion mind versus the human mind? What is the friction in your life that is holding you back from moving forward and achieving the unfathomable? At the age of 11, Dr. Jeff Spencer wrote a contract with himself committing to becoming an Olympian. At the age of 21 he fulfilled that promise and became an Olympic cyclist. Now a sports chiropractor and elite performance coach, Dr. Jeff Spencer builds champions. He helps athletes, entrepreneurs, and high achieving individuals achieve the impossible. “We have two oppositional mentalities that make up our human nature that are at war with each other 24 hours a day. One wants to talk us out of it… “What do I stand to lose here?” That’s our human mind. The champion's mind: “What do I stand to gain here?” What began as an inspiring and motivating podcast about mindset and pushing past limitations, turned into a moving discussion about Dr. Jeff’s experience becoming a father to his adopted daughter, the lessons he has learned through fatherhood, and the deep fulfillment he finds from witnessing her successes. His biggest challenge and his greatest victory was his daughter. As he says, the Olympics, the 9 Tour de France's, coaching the best athletes in the world, only prepared him for the biggest challenge of his life: fatherhood. He approached this stage of his life with a “leave nothing on the field’ mindset to save his daughter's life. Dr. Jeff Spencer truly embodies what it means to tap into your highest potential and achieve miracles. Listen to our full conversation on The SuperAge podcast, available on all podcast streaming sites. https://www.drjeffspencer.comSay hi to the AGEIST team!
