the Falcon Lake UFO Incident

from The Canadian Gothic · host CanadianGothic / Curiouscast

For over 50 years a revolving door of civilian and government investigators have attempted to provide an explanation for the Falcon Lake UFO Incident, yet it remains an enigma.  What is known is that in 1967, just months prior to the other famous Canadian UFO event in Shag Harbour, a man stumbled out of the woods in rural Manitoba disoriented, vomiting, and badly burned.  This wasn't a bonfire gone wrong or anything to do with alcohol however.  The story this man told, and maintained until his death in 1999, was that he encountered a UFO, and got injured in the process.  In this episode of Nighttime, Canadian UFO researcher Chris Rutkowksi shares details of the Falcon Lake event and in doing so explains why this event has remained such a major part of Canada's UFO story.
