On this episode, we are joined by James Lecesne and Ryan Amador, co-founders of The Future Perfect Project, about their mission to amplify the voices of LGBTQ youth and allies in high schools across the United States. Most recently, the group went to Minneapolis, Minnesota (with their newest member, Julie Novak) to lead a multi-day workshop at South High School. The resulting creative collaboration yielded a number of amazing original poems, spoken word, and musical performances from the students that are featured here (interview with James and Ryan and student pieces start at about 19:10).
