Most cats hate water. My cat hates bathing and swimming… So, can you imagine a cat that loves to go surfing? 大部分的貓咪都怕水,但你能想像喜歡衝浪的貓咪嗎? No way! That's crazy. A surfing cat! Actually, there is such a thing! Hokule'a is a cat in Hawaii. He likes to go surfing. Hokule'a goes surfing with his owner… and the cat seems to like it! 夏威夷有一隻貓很喜歡跟主人一起衝浪。 You can watch a video about the surfing cat on YouTube. Hokule'a the cat is so cute! Hokule'a was a stray kitten… two people adopted him, and they said the cat was very shy… Hokule'a followed the people everywhere they went in the house… even into the shower! Hokule'a 是一隻被領養的流浪貓,個性非常害羞,會一直跟著主人,甚至一起進淋浴間。 Then his owners thought, "Hmm… I wonder if he likes the beach?" And Hokule'a did! Then they put him on their surfboard and went for a ride. Hokule'a loved it! Hokule'a 的主人帶牠去衝浪,發現牠很喜歡! Hokule'a is an amazing cat who loves to swim and go surfing. Most kitty cats don't like swimming… or surfing. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems.
