In this episode we talk about courtesy. Courtesy is the sign of good behaviour, according to an ancient story from the Panchatantra. Does that mean we have to be courteous? No. Is it a good idea to be courteous? Yes. Why? because it is the right thing to do, the decent thing to do. It is the opposite of being discourteous. Discourtesy is the lack of social grace. It brings us into the world of the psychopath and the sociopath. Back to the Panchatantra, being courteous is a sign. It is a signal that you are a decent person. It sets the standard. It draws a line in the sand. It sets a boundary. It gives us cause when we respond to the bad behaviour and wrong-doings of others.
