The Secret Kindergarten | For Young Children

The Secret Kindergarten is here to support parents of young children. We provide a freedom-minded podcast, for young children (roughly aged 2.5 to 7), that is guaranteed to be free of indoctrination and sinister agendas. There are carefully curated undertones in the content that promote Natural Law principles because The Secret Kindergarten affirms what young children already know. An enjoyable podcast for the whole family that is thought provoking, fun and encourages connecting with our young. The Secret Kindergarten is created and hosted by Gino Volante, an ex-ECE teacher. Gino wants to see young children bonded with caring adults in the right way. This will affirm their connection with Nature, which will naturally push back against the indoctrination agendas and create a future of freedom for humanity.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/The Secret Kindergarten

The Butterfly, The Dog and The Sparrow (re-upload)

The card of The Fool in the Tarot implies the start of something new, or a fresh beginning. Some people don’t get to start until they are very old. Sometimes some people never start for their whole lives! But if we spend lots of time, as young children, in play…. we are given more of a chance to begin our Hero’s Journey much sooner than would be expected. The more young children play, the more they give their attention to styles of play that benefit their own learning style/schema. Paying attention to the right things in early childhood develops focus, concentration, self-awareness, processing information…… hang on a minute! Are we talking about the trivium process here? Indeed we are…. at least the early childhood application of it. Let’s put it this way: engaging in preferred styles of play, in the early years, sets the young child up for the best and right learning later in life. Playing the right way means learning the right way and then later… doing the Right thing!MUSICNancy Stewart from NancyMusic.comAUDIO STORIES“The Story of The First Butterflies”from The Book of Nature Myths by Florence Holbrook. More Stories and Music

"Before concentration sets in the teacher can do what she likes more or less, because she upsets nothing important. She can intervene in the children’s activities if necessary. I have read of a Saint who tried to attract the abandoned boys of the streets of a town who were learning bad habits. What did he do? He tried every means to amuse them. That is what the teacher must do at this stage. The use of poetry, rhymes, singing, stories, drama, clowning; anything is good enough except the stick. The teacher who fascinates the children attracts them and this leads to some exercise, which is not very important but it does attract them. A vivacious teacher can attract more easily, then why not make use of it? To say brightly: “Now what about changing the furniture today” and then work with them, the teacher herself carrying things carefully and suggesting how to carry, doing all this brightly. Or: “How about polishing this beautiful brass bowl?” or: “Shall we go into the garden and collect some flowers?” If the teacher is attractive the action will be attractive." Stories and Music

Outside of play, stories are the modality for teaching, instruction and explaining things to young children. Let's read more stories aloud for the children!"But one thing children at this age cannot do is follow explanations; they have no understanding for this at all. If a teacher tries to explain the subjects during the first school years, the children will react by becoming blunted and dull. This approach simply does not work. On the other hand, everything will go smoothly if, rather than explaining the subject matter, one forms the content into a story, if words are painted with mental images, and if rhythm is brought into one’s whole way of teaching." - Excerpt from Rudolf Steiner's Lecture Five of The Child's Changing Consciousness, Donarch, April 19, 1923.MusicNancy Stewart of https://nancymusic.com/Bed Tracks and Other Audio“Children Theme” by Denys KyshchukFrom freemusicarchive.orgAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 International(CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)Music by Denys Kyshchuk: https://www.audiocoffee.net/https://soundcloud.com/deniskino“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: [email protected] my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.

    Listen to Stories

Here is a fantastic tip about reading stories to young children to influence change. It was spoken by Rudolf Steiner at a faculty meeting on the 14th of June, 1920. Dr. Steiner: "It is unavoidable that the anthroposophical children hear things at home. That is not dangerous as long as the parents are reasonable. The healthy attitude of the parents will keep the children from becoming too wild, even though those things may go in deeply. The things we have often had to struggle against, such as those you mentioned about O.R. may arise because the parents talk about silly things. You will have noticed that the instruction is bearing fruit. I would mention that particularly in critical cases, you have had good success with stories that have a particular moral. If you are certain a child has a specific kind of misbehavior, then you can think of a story in which that type of misbehavior becomes absurd. Even with very young children, you can rid them of their greed for sweets and such if the mother tells a story that makes that behavior absurd. If you think of something along the lines of the dog who goes over the bridge with meat in his mouth, that strongly affects the child and has a lasting effect. That is particularly true if you allow some time to go by between the misbehavior and telling the story. Generally, you can achieve more when the child has slept, and you return to the subject the next day. To take up the behavior immediately after it occurred is the worst thing. That sounds very theosophical, but it is also quite true.LinksSteiner Q+A at a Faculty Meeting in Stuttgart, 14th of June, 1920.https://rsarchive.org/Lectures/GA300a/English/AP1998/19200614d01.html AudiobooksUnknown. The Tarantula in My Purse (re-upload)

Gino pulls the Rhodochrosite crystal from Judy Hall’s “The Crystal Wisdom Healing Oracle” to guide the show. According to Judy Hall, rhodochrosite is a crystal of transformation from self-reflection and through self-understanding and forgiveness. This crystal corresponds to the tarantula in the world of animal spirit guides. Author of “Animal Spirit Guides”, Dr. Steven Farmer puts the tarantula spirit as a guide for shedding old ways, self-trust (which requires understanding and forgiveness) and pushing forward while dealing with sensitivity. The “Nature Time” segment explores these qualities with Tarantula facts and an anecdote from the Nature Writer, Jean Craighead George. We also play an audiobook about Robert The Bruce and his encounter with a spider. The spider shows him that success is about failing many times, which essentially is what the spider is here to teach us about. It reminds me of spiderman, the hyper-sensitive super-hero. You see? The proof of our connectedness is everywhere!Young children show us that the Law of Vibration is an objective reality here on earth. The Secret Kindergarten aims to highlight how things like a crystal, a tarantula and striving to succeed, have much more in common than it may seem. Cobwebs

Cobwebs are found in places that we have missed — corners of the house, ceilings and under furniture. They reside in places we haven't been paying attention to. The cobwebs invites us to look out for hidden or missed opportunities in our life. Our children are bursting with opportunity for themselves and for us. Cobwebs remind us to spend time with our children, to create opportunities for them and openings for our spiritual development. According the late Maurice Sendak (whose books we read in this episode), he believes it is "…unnatural to think that there is such a thing as a blue-sky, white-clouded happy childhood for anybody. Childhood is a very, very tricky business of surviving it. Because if one thing goes wrong or anything goes wrong, and usually something goes wrong, then you are compromised as a human being. You're going to trip over that for a good part of your life.” And because of this childhood predicament, we should seize the day and take advantage of time to prevent missed opportunities for our families.AudiobooksGatty, Margaret (1809-1873). The Lord of The Silver Bow

They may might not be the most engaging stories for young children in the technocratic age, but not so long ago, some people thought Greek Myths were important to be translated to something palatable for children. This episode plays "The Lord of The Silver Bow", a re-telling of the Trojan war. The Secret Kindergarten wants to shine a light on people who spent their time and energy to create better resources for children. The person in this case is late author James Baldwin. We look back to move forward. From https://fairytalez.com/author/james-baldwin/: "Born in 1841 in Indiana, James Baldwin was an author, editor and educator. Baldwin was passionate about education and began his career as a teacher before moving on to superintendent. His experience in the school system led to positions as an editor of school books, however, he soon began authoring books himself. Baldwin liked to take complex texts such as the Greek myths and Norse legends, then break them down into simple language for young readers. He published over 50 books in his lifetime, including the texts Old Greek Stories, The Story of Seigfried and even fairy readers, collections of fairy tales. Baldwin passed away in 1925." I hope that Fairytales and myths, revived, awakens something in all of us that drives us toward freedom.BooksBash, Barbara. (1990). The Little Brown Bat

The Secret Kindergarten is moving towards live video streaming of the show! In the meantime, you can check out the Revolution.Radio Discord server. You can see the pictures of the book I read live. In this episode, I read, "Shadows of Night: The Hidden World of The Little Brown Bat" by Barbara Bush. Bush's books have fantastic images and nature themes that connect animals and plants to the world of children. I have a fear that I will cause more harm than good by going to video. According to the phenomenal research and writings of Joseph Chilton Pearce, screen time is clearly not good for young children. Yet, screen time is a required tool in the system we have been brought into. One small positive is that screen-time, when shared with the family, is a positive bonding experience if done so occasionally. Screen-time is also proven to be an effective "surrogate" for neglected children. This shows, to me, how damaging neglect can be. The first story with images is symbolic, being a bat. The bat encourages us to face our fears, and overcome them, to bring about dramatic changes. While the bat is a "power animal" for young children everywhere (Batman will always be popular to this age group), I thank the bat for giving me a sign that presenting video is part of a larger change…. and hopefully for the better! I hope that parents sit with their children in front of the screen and find ways to have fun together. I hope that the videos of my show will reach those children who need it the most and provide and element of care that they otherwise would not have received in that moment, for whatever reason.MusicThanks to Nancy Stewart of NancyMusic.comhttps://nancymusic.com/Bed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: [email protected] my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.

Lucky Dip Story Time | Part 2

At the end of of many shows, we do a group activity for the listeners to the feel connected with one another. This is affirming, especially for young children. The truth of Natural Law is a part of us. It is more a part of us as young children. It is easier for us to live according to Natural Law as young children. With a little bonding from caring adults, we can thrive and live free... and create the freedom many conscious adult wish for us all. Have you seen a three-year-old climb a tree? Have you seen a toddler play near a river? Have you been around young children while they play with hand tools like hammers and saws? Part of us wants to rescue the kids from these kind of "dangers". We want to prevent injury by removing risk. It is hard for an adult to be judged by others when a child is injured under the adult's watch. But, you know what, who cares! Adults are protected by the Creator for letting things flow, letting kids flourish. We need to be supporting and affirming, not removing and preventing. So, stick around till the end of the show. In this show we do a stadium wave! It used to be called a "Mexican Wave" at some point, but someone or something prevents us from saying that now. A stadium wave affirms our interconnectedness. It's an amplifier of the principle of vibration. We are all connected and our individual actions affect the all.MusicThanks to Nancy Stewart of NancyMusic.comhttps://nancymusic.com/Bed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: [email protected] my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.

    Lucky Dip Story Time

I was lucky to receive three large boxes of children's books on August the 8th. A notification on Facebook popped up asking for the contact details of a charity shop that would want a bulk lot of children's books. I tried my luck and sent the man a message. The next day, he happily delivered them to me. It was a lucky day! My mind has been fraught with my direction in life. I wonder if I am wasting my time with my work for children. In many ways, I am better off if I get a day job and reduce my time spent on my current projects. It would be a lot easier on things to have an income. Anyway, this month as been a "question mark" month, an identity crisis of sorts. The children's books have been a blessing and a reminder to stay the course! So much so, that I wondered the spiritual significance of August the 8th. A quick search revealed that this day marks the opening of the Lion's Gate Portal, which is considered the most powerful day of the year for manifestation. It's the alignment of the Sun in Leo, Sirius and Orion's Belt and the planet Earth. It's when astrologically inclined people might light a candle for wealth and success. In my opinion, when you do things of service to the children of the world, things manifest for you without having to worry about star alignments. Don't get me wrong, I am interested in astrology, especially in relationship to the phases of the moon. and I'm grateful to be looked after by those unseen forces that want to see me to do good and stay the course.MusicThanks to Nancy Stewart of NancyMusic.com https://nancymusic.com/Bed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: [email protected] my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.

    Plant Pixies

Oscar Wilde's The Selfish Giant symbolises how children require play in nature in order to grow into holistically healthy human beings. Powerful forces in nature come to the aid of families who spend time together outdoors in play. Not only part of Native American philosophy, Rudolf Steiner spoke of nature-connections. He was an inspiration for the "Eco-Spirituality" movement. Children spending time in nature, with their families, brings us back to an ancient time. Indo-Europeans had the nature connection and may have been responsible for the symbolic sequences of Natural Law found in many fairy tales. They also held the children in extremely high regard. The initiation of the child, into the seventh year of age, was a huge ritual and celebration. This, in my opinion, means that the ancient Indo-Europeans understood the importance of the life of the child in the early years.MusicWith thanks to Nancy Stewart: https://nancymusic.com/AudiobooksWilde, Oscar. Pinocchio Goes to Toy Land

When Pinocchio goes against the advice of the fairy, he is choosing to give into worldly temptation, such as going to Toy Land instead of School. Running deeper than the exoteric message to "stay in school kids", the message speaks to spiritual development, which the fairy symbolises. The fairy represents our spiritual powers and our untapped potential related to universal consciousness and our true selves. Toys, on the other hand, represent temptation. Pinocchio, giving up the spiritual work required to grow and develop, gave into temptation and turned into a donkey. The donkey symbolises folly, foolishness and stupidity. There is something to be said about "delayed gratification". Working hard for a reward is tied in with these life lessons of Pinocchio. We need to create a balance of work and play, not to throw the baby out with the bath-water. The concept of initiation is part of this dynamic too: working hard and overcoming challenges, learning from mistakes. Spiritual teaching are often grounded in common sense. Freemasonic or otherwise, the author of Pinocchio deeply understood symbolism and certainly knew a thing or two about how life should be lived.LinksEsoteric Interpretation of Pinocchio:https://vigilantcitizen.com/moviesandtv/the-esoteric-interpretation-of-pinocchio/Jordan Peterson on Pinocchio and the Abandonment of Responsibility:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSiLUddcE6kThe Influence of History on Pinocchio's Morals:https://medium.com/@collinjpitts/strings-attached-the-influence-of-history-on-pinocchios-morals-aea13e53739AudiobooksPinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Comhttps://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work!https://www.patreon.com/storynoryBed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/___________The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: [email protected] my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.

    Pinocchio and The Fairy

Pinocchio, much like the Fool in the Tarot, is pure potential. He shows how it is possible to do the right thing, or the wrong thing in the present moment. This archetype is about choices in a youthful honesty. It is a card that represents creativity too. It is referenced as such in many books. Modern Tarot books suggest it is a great card to show up in a reading. It suggests that you are beginning an adventure and to have fun and just go for it. It may suggest to approach a creative project in an innocent and unconscious way. All of the reasoning for this archetype reminds me of the lives of young children. They should be encouraged and supported to just go for it. They are creative and naive. Perhaps the journey of the Tarot, the heroes journey is supposed to begin in the early years. Imagine how far humanity would advance if this was the case. So, be encouraging and supportive of young children and let them go for it!LinksEsoteric Interpretation of Pinocchio:https://vigilantcitizen.com/moviesandtv/the-esoteric-interpretation-of-pinocchio/Jordan Peterson on Pinocchio and the Abandonment of Responsibility:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSiLUddcE6kThe Influence of History on Pinocchio's Morals:https://medium.com/@collinjpitts/strings-attached-the-influence-of-history-on-pinocchios-morals-aea13e53739AudiobooksPinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Comhttps://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work!https://www.patreon.com/storynoryBed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/___________The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: [email protected] my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.

    Pinocchio Goes to Jail

The Secret Kindergarten Radio Show for Young Children Ep. 125 Pinocchio goes out and lives life to the fullest, making many mistakes and trying to get by without responsibilty. He is learning, through experience, that this doesn't work out so well. There is an effect to the cause. There are consequences to actions. All his rough-sawn actions are symbolic of the hand-made wooden puppet that he is... rough around the edges and being smoothed out and honed by life... until he becomes a boy, a real human being. As the story of Pinocchio unfolds, we see the Freemasonic knowledge of the author become more present. Pinocchio's efforts represent a spiritual way of living life by trying to do well, be virtuous, and learn from mistakes to achieve enlightenment.LinksEsoteric Interpretation of Pinocchio: https://vigilantcitizen.com/moviesandtv/the-esoteric-interpretation-of-pinocchio/Jordan Peterson on Pinocchio and the Abandonment of Responsibility: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSiLUddcE6kThe Influence of History on Pinocchio's Morals: https://medium.com/@collinjpitts/strings-attached-the-influence-of-history-on-pinocchios-morals-aea13e53739Audiobooks Pinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Com: https://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work! https://www.patreon.com/storynory Bed Tracks and Other Audio Chill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productions https://onsound.eu/ | Music Promoted by https://onsound.eu/"Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/ The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/You can follow the show also on all main podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcast, iHeart, etc.) and on Substack and Odysee. Pinocchio Returns

Pinocchio is considered to be, at least in part, an allegory of Italian society in the 19th century. The author, Carlo Collodi, was against the unification of Italy by monarchy in his era. It is considered likely that he was trying to show children the corruption and evil of those adults in positions of power and authority. With so much corruption, allegory and moral lessons contained in a long-standing and most popular children's story... Collodi cared and curated this kind of message to come across. Perhaps Pinocchio has stood the test of time because humanity still hasn't quite learned the lessons that Collodi was trying to teach us. Consider a man that was so informed, concerned and caring that he wrote a masterpiece to try and warn future generations of the kinds of evil that hides in plain sight. His idea of a solution to monarchy may or may not have been correct, but that is beside the point to the work he set out to do with Pinocchio. Pinocchio comes across as an emotional, emphatic work to address a serious emergency, rather than a penned political propaganda.LinksEsoteric Pinocchio:http://www.weepeeple.com/drawer/esotericpinocchiopage.htmJordan Peterson on The Psychology of Pinocchio:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGQS4N0cYWQThe Influence of History on Pinocchio's Morals:https://medium.com/@collinjpitts/strings-attached-the-influence-of-history-on-pinocchios-morals-aea13e53739AudiobooksPinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Comhttps://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work!https://www.patreon.com/storynoryBooksWhy Does The Moon Shine So Bright? by Christine Ferrin Lydon:http://artisticpublication.com/Bed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/________The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: [email protected] my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.

    Pinocchio Continues

Pinocchio is a story of initiation, was written by a politically active Freemason. Can you see the plurality of Pinocchio and the Fool of the Tarot? Of course the story was written in the 19th century, a time of the rise of secret societies and illumination. The mystery traditions hold allegory, symbolism, archetypes and ancient tales in high regard. Pinocchio is certainly a reflection of someone on the path in the esoteric era. I find fables, such as Pinocchio, more frightening than older Fairy Tales. The allegorical stories (fables) perhaps ring a little to true, are too confronting, too close to home. We see our mistakes in them. I believe this is the idea of them. The human mistakes we make, in our lives, resonate with archetypal characters of the Tarot and speak of a deeper or broader issue within ourselves that requires an initiation to overcome. Pinocchio is bursting with initiations, every scene, mistakes are on the horizon within every paragraph! I believe that Pinocchio is certainly an older child's story. Not because it is one of the most disturbing children's stories, but because of the lack of fantasy and a relatively "overt" allegory in comparison to Fairy Tales. This tale of a marionette is one of the most translated stories of all time! It has endured and made a lasting impact on our culture, which says something about the allegory itself. Pinocchio is the Fool in the Tarot, on a hero's journey learning the rules of life by breaking them. Many of us continue to make the same mistakes through our life without initiation into better actions. Pinocchio is a dark story because of the darkness we have inside us, darkness we endure and also have the power to overcome! If a puppet can overcome the darkness, then so can we! There are likely secrets inside the story that will point us in the direction of what we need to overcome inside ourselves to "level up" in our lives. So, which character affects you the most? Which Tarot card does that character represent? These are the aspects of children's Fables and Fairy Tales that bring the adult reader on an explorative journey alongside the children. Everyone benefits from Fable and Fairy Tales.LinksEsoteric Pinocchio:http://www.weepeeple.com/drawer/esotericpinocchiopage.htmJordan Peterson on The Psychology of Pinocchio:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGQS4N0cYWQAudiobooksPinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Comhttps://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work!https://www.patreon.com/storynoryBed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/__________________The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: [email protected] my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: [email protected] my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.

    Pinocchio

Pinocchio is a story of initiation, of striving to overcome darkness and do the right thing. Pinocchio is a character that was weaponised to promote fascism, well after Collodi wrote the story. The 19th century was full of bright, creative and spiritual people. Some of these people created powerful, symbolic art that had such Universal appeal, it could be "hi-jacked" and used for other and perhaps nefarious reasons. It reminds me of how Disney franchise is perceived. A corporate machine using timeless storylines and archetypes for personal gain and potentially disabling our children subversively. I think the importance of highly symbolic and archetypal children's tales is that they are spiritually sustaining and contain accidental or intentional spiritual teachings based on how things naturally work in our shared reality. Evil likes to steel the best, most creative and most powerful ideas. The best creative content in humanity is the Fairy Tale, so we must read Fairy Tales, symbolic stories for children that tap into our soul. We must try harder and do good in the world. Why? Because evil is ever willing to steal and co-opt our ideas. Evil has more time to develop our story for us, because we are busier using our creative capacity!AudiobooksPinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Comhttps://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work!https://www.patreon.com/storynoryBed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/______The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: [email protected] my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.

    Jack is Back!

There is nothing that we cannot do. We can do anything that we put our mind to. We can affect the growth of plants by transferring our intentions and energy onto them, like in The Grape Vine's Story. The lady, in a way, deceives the grapevine to please her. Jack in Jack The Giant Killer shows us that we can outsmart and outplay grown-ups as young children. We can defeat opponents much bigger than us. We need to trick our minds into believing it is all possible and then taking action. Young children are capable of this when they are affirmed and recognised as confident and capable humans. We need to let the young keep their magic and bring it into adulthood to create the kind of world we were meant to live in. Beans are planted on Ascension day, they are associated with wisdom, luck and connecting to higher realms, raising consciousness. Self-defence and justice go hand-in-hand with the symbolism of beans. It's likely that the themes and symbolism, in the stories of Jack and the Beanstalk, are no coincidence. They were created by those of a deep understanding of Natural Law or subconsciously inspired the Creator himself in an act of synchromysticism.Music Nancy Stewarthttps://nancymusic.com/Audio StoriesCook, James Hume (1866-1942). The Moon

Young children, while clearly in the hands of the spiritual realm, are the life of imagination! The moon card in the Tarot represents the "life of imagination, apart from the life of spirit" according to A.E. Waite. Our imagination is what will get us out of the mess we're in and the children of today are our future. Families could do exceedingly well for their children's future by observing and incorporating the moon's cycles in to their family's life. Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree" is the perfectly crafted story. I don't understand how someone could write a children's story that was so perfect. Flying Horses

"Let your imagination fly" and "let your imagination run wild" are phrases, when put together, might bring to mind flying horses. Among other meanings, flying symbolises the imagination. Our imagination resides in the place that embodies young children: the unconscious. Among other definitions, horses symbolise the imagination as well. Two Celtic Fairy Tales, in the episode of The Secret Kindergarten, have flying horses. Both of these stories require the flying horses to achieve goals in dangerous epic quests. The imagination is required in life to live fully, take risks and succeed. Fairy tales promote and affirm the imagination. They take us on immersive explorative journeys and are a form of imaginative play. The Humble Bee

In the Māori fairy tale, The Wooden Head, we learn that dreamwork was in use in New Zealand in ancient times. We also learn that value was placed on the moments before sleep and the moments before waking. These are occulted times of the day and night, when our beings are in a suggestible state. The protagonist in The Wooden Head asks for advice on his problem situation, he dreams the solution, awakes and knows what he is to do. He has an understanding of the dream space, the otherworld, the space where souls reside. With young children in the alpha brainwave state and largely operating from the original/subconscious brain… this story serves to affirm this space that they are held in by the Creator. This story shows us how we as adults should revere and work with this space as well. This story serves as an affirmation and example for the young and an inspiration for grown ups.AudiobooksGrimm, Jacob & Wilhelm (1785-1863). "Tom Thumb". Children's and Household Tales. The Valiant Little Tailor

"The Valiant Little Tailor" is considered an essential fairy tale for folklorists. What is essential about this tale for young children? The tailor character pops up in a few fairy tales. Consider Steiner, who said fairy tales are "nutrition for the soul", and the fact that fairy tales rich in symbolism. We could say that the symbolism of the tailor provides something for the soul of the child. Tailors make clothes fit, so there is a suggestion of making things in order, or dealing with people that are imperfect, perhaps immoral. The shoe seem to fit with this idea as you will see in the story… the tailor sets out to set things right and gain power and wealth at the same time. I believe the concept of "Tailor Symbolism" in a fairy tale could affirm the spirit of children with The Great Work. Striving in life to do the right thing, raise consciousness of the self and of others. A difficult task in this day and age but we must remain hopeful that The Great Work is something that is possible to live by and still put clothes on the backs of our children.AudiobooksGrimm, Jacob & Wilhelm (1785-1863). The Miser in The Bush

Audiobooks are a great alternative to screentime. They increase comprehension. Fairy Tales contain symbolic teachings of universal principles and laws. They contain laws of three that teach us how we can live to be effective and righteous. So if young children listen to audiobooks of Fairy Tales, we are increasing their comprehension of the most important topics encoded in the stories. It's a way to teach Natural Law. When children begin to learn to read, they can volunteer to narrate stories and upload them to librivox.org! this would be a fantastic "positive feedback loop" that promotes living in service to others.AudiobooksGrimm, Jacob & Wilhelm (1785-1863). The Gnome

According to Steven Olderr's, Symbolism - a Comprehensive Dictionary, a gnome symbolises: a flash of knowledge; inspiration; enlightenment; intuition; knowledge held in secret; associated with mining. A gnome represents a force that helps us when we look within and need help when we are doing good and on the right path. Fairy Tales with mythical beings resonate with these concepts inside all of us and they affirm the part of life that is about being true to our selves and living a life of good in the fight against evil.MusicSongs by Nancy Stewarthttps://nancymusic.comBooksBrunelle, Lynn. The King and the Polar Bear

    L. Frank Baum, the author of The Wizard of Oz, also wrote fairy tales. In today's episode we read "The King of The Polar Bears" from Baum's book, American Fairy Tales. The moral from this story is, "… that true dignity and courage depend not upon outward appearance, but come rather from within; also that brag and bluster are poor weapons to carry into battle." This fairy tale contains human-to-animal violence and animal-to-animal conflict. Fairy tales such as this one remind us how far we have gone in terms of censorship. Do you feel that battle advice is appropriate for children? Does it sit right with you? The Secret Kindergarten read aloud fairy tale gems encoded with common sense advice and Natural Law principles. Why not read these to children and observe the reaction? It's a fun learning experience for adults too.Music Songs by Nancy Stewarthttps://nancymusic.comBooksBrunelle, Lynn. (2018). The Vikings

The Vikings, while possibly holding conquest and domination in high regard, revered stories and storytellers. Where were children when the stories were being told? Were they put to bed early while the parents could have some "grown-up" time? Or were they included in more of the community activities? It is likely that the stories were for all to here and spoke messages that were to be received on many levels and by many developmental stages of human life.BooksBrunelle, Lynn. (2018). The King and The Fairies

A wonderful fairy tale, from New Zealand, is read in this episode. The King and The Fairies teaches the origins of the fishing net. It's amazing how the story corroborates the esoteric concept of where great ideas come from. In the story, the idea of fishing nets, comes from the fairies of the sea. Interestingly, we have covered this concept of fairies as messengers right here on the Secret Kindergarten. Theosophy teaches this idea to children. Stories like The King and The Fairies affirm the magic of hidden forces working with those who have leadership and a desire to serve and improve the lives of others.BooksHall, Manly P. (1973). Who Wants a Cheap Rhinoceros?

In Elizabeth Ring's book, Tiger Lilies and Other Beastly Plants, we can show young children examples of the Law of Correspondence because the book highlights plants with animal-like qualities. It also shows the connectedness of things which teaches about the Law of Vibration and how we are all connected in nature. Spending time and attention on young children, by reading these types of books, is a great way to create the future we want to see the next generation living in… a future of freedom and self-ownership under universal laws and principles.BooksHall, Manly P. Storytime: The Crystal Ball

Gino reads a Brothers Grimm's fairy tale. Why is reading fairy tales to young children important?Reading stories to young children is foundational and formative to their comprehension. Choosing old and original fairy tales is foundational and formative to understanding Natural Law. It is important to learn the symbolism and have reverence for the children and the old stories… spending time with young children and reading is key to creating a world without slavery. A world without slavery is Anarchism, it is a world without masters and therefore a world without slaves. The Sparrow and His Four Children

Sparrows are found everywhere you would and should find children: in parks; in gardens; on home properties and in the community. Sparrows symbolise many things that are synonymous to young children: productive and creative imagination; blooming energy and vitality; heart open to giving and receiving love; aligning posture and poise with dignity and self-respect. Fairy Tales have been proven to contain important teachings of initiation and morality. So the fairy tales containing sparrows must be at the top of the list regarding matters of concern for the life of the young child. The number four is associated with setting up a firm foundation in life. The fourth sparrow thrived through faith in a higher power, symbolised by the church he lived in. The message in this story teaches us that young children must have faith to create a foundation for a successful life. This is where the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, fantasy and fairy tales play a part in bolstering the faith of children.BooksHall, Manly P. (1973). Self-defence requires self-esteem. Self-esteem comes from kindness. The King's daughter, held captive by old man Rinkrank, was forced to care for him as a cook and housemaid. The only was out was to fight in an act of self-defence. How did her self-esteem build in such a horrid situation. She was captured for years! Her acts of kindness must have been reminding her of her good nature, and highlighting the wrong-doing of the recipient of such kindness. This all built up until she couldn't take it anymore. There are situations in life where we must stick up for ourselves. We must encourage kindness in the children and support them and encourage them to stand up for themselves.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/BOOKSHall, Manly P. (1973). What Does a Golden Key Unlock?

The boy finds a golden key in the Brothers Grimm fairy tale "The Golden Key". The golden key represents the need to take risks and be brave because life is a journey of transformation and growth. Every young child has a golden key. Do the adults give the children the freedom and opportunity to find the right door and unlock it? Visualisation exercises are beneficial for young children, as much as they are for adults. It counteracts the diminishing effect, of the T.V., on the imagination. What symbols and archetypes bubble up in the imagination of a young child engaged in imagination exercises? Whatever the picture paints, there are messages in there for the adults who are willing to participate in these exercises with young children. The Secret Kindergarten Radio Show for Young Children is live every Saturday 2.00pm-2.30pm Eastern Time (followed by the Grown Ups Edition 2.30-3.00pm ET) on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/BOOKSHall, Manly P. Maya The Bee - The Last Chapter

Waldemar Bonsels wanted to teach children to: respect all living beings; be courageous; be adventurous; be open-minded; acknowledge life and death and think positively. As the author of "The Adventures of Maya The Bee", he managed to convey these teachings through the journey of the little bee, Maya. For someone who, paradoxically, got swept up in the antisemitic fervour of Nazi Germany, Waldemar Bonsells was a "Neo-Romantic Natural Mystic" who did a pretty good job of creating the greatest children's fairy tale of the 19th century. The Secret Kindergarten Radio Show for Young Children is live every Saturday 2.00pm-2.30pm Eastern Time (followed by the Grown Ups Edition 2.30-3.00pm ET) on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/AUDIO STORIESBonsels, Waldemar (1880-1952). Is a Hedgehog Faster Than a Hare?

"The Hare and The Hedgehog" is another deadly fable from the collection of The Brothers Grimm. The deeper experience in this story has the hare symbolising unexpected events or situations causing change. The hedgehog symbolises self-trust, self-honour and taking action on your gut feeling. The hedgehog defended his honour in a creative way that worked and ended his bothersome encounter with the hare. The message, boiled down to first principles, is that you should take action and trust yourself when you are faced with happenings outside of your control. The Secret Kindergarten Radio Show for Young Children is live every Saturday 2.00pm-2.30pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/BOOKSJames, Joyce. What Would You Do With a Scary Owl?

"The Owl" is a Brothers Grimm fairy tale that drips with owl symbolism. A tragic story for the owl and yet another story victimised by cancel culture to prevent violence and cruelty in children. The story really symbolises the importance of "alone time" and contemplation. It sends a message that we should be patient and search deeply to make a difficult decision that will benefit everyone involved. It's about decision making in a fiery time! Can you pick up on these dynamics when you listen to the story? Did you know these symbolic meanings of the owl are the same in the American-Indian and shamanic cultures? Manly P. Hall said that if a culture did not have fairy tales, that culture would have integrated animal symbolism through other means, such as mask-wearing rituals. The Secret Kindergarten Radio Show for Young Children is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/BOOKSHall, Manly P. Hey! You! Give Me Your Bike!

What would your young son or daughter do in the face of bullying? How would you teach them about their natural rights, let alone teaching them how to manage their natural rights within the bounds of "man's law"? The strategy begins with spending time with your young children, creating the bond and then using the strategy of "questioning" to understand what they would do in a Problem Situation. Would you ask them as a lecturer? A tyrant? A domineer? A supervisor? No! You would ask them as a spiritual leader that has love and deep respect for his clergy. You would ask in the name of curiosity, play and fun!The Secret Kindergarten Radio Show for Young Children is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/BOOKSHall, Manly P.
