Episode 5 - In this week's pitch meeting - Pete, Sean, and Will have come here to chew bubblegum and pitch movies... and they're all out of bubblegum - with their proposed "requel" (a remake/sequel) of the classic, kick ass '80s John Carpenter genre film "They Live". Originally released June 13th, 2016. In "They Live Too", Michael B. Jordan stars as the son of the Keith David character from the original, who along with his wife, played by Doctor Who/Guardians of the Galaxy actress Karen Gillan, discover that the planet is being controlled and taken over by an alien race. But with minor tweaks and changes established in the original, including phone apps revealing the aliens (as opposed to the classic sunglasses) and an even more elite reptilian race taking over from the "OBEY" aliens. Sounds completely insane right?! It is. Picture this: James Gunn's "They Live Too". https://www.podpage.com/pitchitmoviepodcast
