Nichols starts to speak as Kimble makes his way through the hotel and into the elevator. Out front of the Chicago Hilton, Deputy Sam is met by Newman and Biggs. He tells the Chicago PD that Kimble is his man, but they feel otherwise since they assume, without bias at all, that Kimble shot the cop.
