Welcome to Episode 164, y'all!  June's not the only LGBTQIA+ month. Sure -- we love Pride, but October is also LGBTQIA+ month.  October is LGBTQ+ history month, giving us some time to reflect on our communities history, struggles, successes, and PROGRESS! If we have learned anything the last 6 years or so, no matter how far we have come we cannot rest on our laurels and take a long pause to celebrate (and nobody throws a celebration better than the queer folk, amiright?).

This week Mark & Casey are honoring LGBTQIA+ history month by honoring some trailblazers in our history!  In this, the inaugural year for the Painted Trash Trailblazers episode we are celebrating trailblazers from our communal history who have made huge impacts in the community and world as a whole.  And like our trunts, we are going big for our first year of honorees!  The Boys are honoring six -- yes, 6 -- folx who created a legacy of activism and visibility.  Who is making the list?? You gotta listen to find out!

Of course -- we are gonna spill some tea, and talk some trash (maybe not too much about the Trailblazers) as The Boys are known to do. In this week's Pick-up, Casey is announcing a return for one night only, a spa day, and a fancy cocktail evening while Mark break a nail while binging a series.  Then, in a much abbreviated Trash Talk, from the headlines, somebody got fired for drinking on the job and you won't believe this story!

As usual, Casey & Mark are giving you recommendations (or will they be wreck-o-mendations) this week you will most certainly want to check out.

It's a celebratory (somebody wearing their summer suit separate? The one with the sheer sleeve with the side satchel?) reflective, and important conversation this week!  So getcha a nice pour of port vintage and pull up a plush chair to the circle.  It's time to paint!
