Train Workers Better- Mental Health Day Off

from K-Talk · host K Chynn

Companies need to train workers to deal with time off better. People are very insensitive to the needs of others. It is excellent to work from home or sit in your comfortable office chair and dictate to others. We all have the same life stressors, so why people pretend that people aren't allowed to take off is beyond me. People need to be mindful of how they speak to others; why make someone wrong for taking time off? Everyone is entitled to a day off, and when we want the time, we take it, so we should allow others. What I think annoys me the most is that it becomes evident that people are replaceable through the pandemic. Companies still thrive without past employees. Sure they have to get coverage, but you are just a number. And because you are a number, you have to take care of yourself and take the time when you need it. You are not a number to your friends and family; you are a person they rely on and come to when they need any support. Workers are WORKERS, and they need to show respect to fellow workers and respect that when a person needs time off, to grant it. Especially if the person never calls in but has to. Furthermore, you know people live on the edge, and the last thing you should do to someone is guilting them because they need personal time.

Song Against Songs, The by G. K. Chesterton (1874 - 1936) LibriVox LibriVox volunteers bring you 9 recordings of The Song Against Songs by G. K. Chesterton. This was the Fortnightly Poetry project for October 16, 2011.Chesterton was a large man, standing 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m) and weighing around 21 stone (130 kg; 290 lb). His girth gave rise to a famous anecdote. During World War I a lady in London asked why he was not 'out at the Front'; he replied, 'If you go round to the side, you will see that I am.' On another occasion he remarked to his friend George Bernard Shaw: "To look at you, anyone would think a famine had struck England". Shaw retorted, "To look at you, anyone would think you have caused it". P. G. Wodehouse once described a very loud crash as "a sound like Chesterton falling onto a sheet of tin."( Summary from Wikipedia ) The Laura Ingraham Show Laura Ingraham The most-watched woman in the history of cable news brings her no-holds-barred political and cultural commentary to podcasting with The Laura Ingraham Show.
