Self-Abuse: When You’re the One Hurting Yourself

This episode is uncomfortable on purpose. We talk a lot about toxic relationships, narcissists, and external harm—but what about the ways we hurt ourselves? In this episode, I unpack self-abuse in its quiet, socially accepted forms:Staying where you’re not respectedIgnoring your body, your intuition, your exhaustionOverworking, over-explaining, over-forgivingChoosing familiarity over peaceCalling it “strength” when it’s actually self-betrayalThis isn’t about shame. It’s about awareness.Because once you see the patterns, you can stop repeating them. And once you stop abusing yourself, everything else has to change. If you’ve ever wondered why healing feels slow—or why you keep ending up back in the same emotional place—this episode will hit close.🎧 Press play.💾 Save this episode for your hard days.📲 Share it with someone who’s ready to be honest with themselves.

Peace isn’t passive.Peace is a decision. In this episode, I talk about what it really means to reclaim your peace—not the aesthetic version, not the “soft life” buzzword, but the kind of peace that comes after disappointment, exhaustion, and emotional over-extension. Unpacking:Why peace often costs relationshipsLetting go of people who benefit from your chaosThe moment you stop explaining and start choosing yourselfHow boundaries feel lonely before they feel freeingWhy protecting your energy is a form of self-respectThis episode is for anyone who’s tired of being “understood” and ready to be undisturbed. If you’ve been carrying too much, giving too much, or shrinking to keep the peace—this is your sign to take it back.🎧 Press play.💾 Save this episode for the days you feel pulled back.📲 Share it with someone who’s learning to choose themselves.

Never Put All Your Eggs in 1 Basket

On the road to redemption, we want to see the best in people and put faith in them. The thing is people will always let you down. But worse maybe you will feel slighted but why? Nobody lives up to the expectations people put on them!

    2025= Me

Hello, where have I been? The podcast will be starting again on the 18. I have definitely stepped away, and let's talk about it, because it is about to be an epic return!

    What You Can Control

Stop killing yourself over the things that you are unable to control. The summer was brutal and very stressful until I gave the stress up. How? I realized why am I letting something kill me that I can't even control or do anything about.

  11. 244

    Healing Hurts pt 2

This is a continuation of my conversation in part 1. Give yourself the chance and grace to heal. It's a messy process, but it's worth it.

  12. 243

    Healing Hurts pt 1

I took the summer off to do some personal healing. Over time, everything you deal with and repress just bubbles, exceptionally if you choose, like me, to ignore it. To pretend your parent's slanderous things about you don't hurt the future of your income. I have said this many times: you can never outrun your problems. You can only party, drink, and smoke so many times you are adding to your current issues.

Reimagining the Vampire Archetype: Beyoncé as Dracula and the Subversion of Gender and Racial Stereotypes

But Beyonce plays this sexy Vampira type with exclusive powers, who sends for a real estate agent, Harker (a black man), an attractive man married to Mina, this white woman. What if Beyonce played Dracula? How groundbreaking would that be for a black woman to flip the script on a Eurocentric white male characterization? Taking Bram Stoker's book made women seem like they had no personality, only that of marriage, worry and stress. But having Beyonce play this sexy Vampira type with exclusive powers, who sends for a real estate agent, Harker (a black man) an attractive man married to Mina this white woman. He meets with Beyonce, specifically at her home in Louisiana from New York, where he is driving by Reinfield, an older woman who is Beyonce's slave as she is working with her in hopes of turning back time on her youth. When he gets there, he is immediately drawn to this sexual figure in a black velvet and lace gown. Her waist is snatched, amd she has this raspy voice, he almost forgets he is married. From then on, Harker is fighting for his life and his marriage, as Countess Carter finds out he is married and starts tormenting Mina in her sleep until she drives her mad, to where she ends up dead. Harker's Mother, Van Helsing, cannot understand what led ordinary Mina to such insanity overnight. This sassy Upper Eastside socialite lady, Mina, does such a thing..... Let's see how it plays out

    Being a Controlling Boss

Do you know what causes companies to fail? Being too controlling and annoying workers. PS, there is a worker shortage, so no one is going to put up with your  BS. I say this time and time again you want people to expand your business, whether you are a small or large company. People are not one trick ponies, and if you have leaders in your company make use of them. People will take there skills and go somewhere that appreciates there skills.

Versus Series Ep: 2 | Contractor Vs Employee

Which are you?  Today you have a contract, and you have employee status. More companies are going with contracts because they do not have to pay benefits, but hours are also not confirmed. Working on a contract most of the time means your control your hours. I would always recommend that you perform a contract for a second job, especially for public speaking, workshop creation, life coaching, etc. Contractor: Most jobs are contracted today because companies don't want to pay health benefits, and a contract acts as security for them because they can let you go. Alternatively, as a contractor, you can make a lot of money because there is no regulation on how much you can work. You also can have "flex work," and your employer pays you in whole. However, this is not stable unless you work with other companies, as this ebbs and flows. So if you have debt, you will need to work for others or get a 9-5. There is also an illusory contractor position where you are an employee, and you can not negotiate your price but have flex work and no benefits. Again, depending on who you are, this can be lucrative, especially at an agency or a clinic. The only thing is that you can not control your pay. Employee: As an employee, you get job security, so your hours are what they are. Overtime does not exist anymore. You now get lieu time. But you get your salary or your income based on hours. This is "slave labour," as you are helping other people get rich. You generally have no control over what you make as it is a scale. You did get benefits, but you will typically end up in debt. That being said, some people like this because of security. I am here to tell you that it does not exist. One thing covid has shown everyone is companies will go under, policies will change, and you will generally be out of work. I think this is safe if you have a debt to pay while you work on your development. But gone are the days when this was what people wanted, "The corner office."

Versus Series Ep: 1 | Business Person Vs Business Owner

What it takes to be a business person? So I hear business owners say often they are business people because they own a location. But honestly, any idiot can own a location, and I have met these people. Business people are not interested in themselves. They are interested in the longevity of their business and making the most money. Therefore, they become organized, invest in their people, and allow people to be creative. Rather than take shortcuts, they understand that treating people right BUT also they can not operate a business on their agenda. They have to employ people with vision or outsource their work. A Business Owner: A business owner owns a business, the makes it seem like they are very good at business. But they are not. They have a company that runs haphazardly, only for themselves. They do not think about staff or see a vision for the business. They expand as they see fit, but not more than that. A Business Person: Believes in expansion, whether in service or location. They believe in optimizing service, so they spend money on people and cultivate those relationships. They understand that people have different skills, and they optimize people's skills. They also pay accordingly to know what people can offer. If you are interested in becoming a business person, Click here and get the I Am Mogul Workbook.

    High Functioning Depression

I get real in this episode. I think many people just work on autopilot until they physically start to deteriorate. Strong people who take on a lot sometimes need a break. It is not always the sadness that is displayed, sometimes it is being overly strong.

    Ignoring People That Don’t Matter

I have found as I get older and life gets more stressful, that you have to stop engaging in stupid wars with mindless people. But you also have to ignore people who don't matter and don't add any value to your life. Because at any moment you could get sick or just drop dead and like a virus they will find a new host.

  20. 235

    Sun Revolves Around You

I avoid this person in my daily life. These people are energy vampires, they want to sit around and talk about how great they are, and how people love them. When in reality they are lonely people who are easily triggered. For your personal success, you have to make sure to avoid this person type at all costs.

  21. 234

Routines to Help with Mental Health

A routine can help to save you from sadness. Life Ebbs and it flows and you can't always be happy or be sad. You need to recognize that one thing that can help is getting back into your routine.

Why Ending Relationships Can Be Good

I was not even sure I was going to record this! But in this podcast, I am exploring why Ending a relationship can be a good thing. You get to start over and learn about yourself.

  23. 232

Why I have Chosen to be Single?

I feel like there are seasons in life where you go through a storm. But I feel like when you are alone you can weather the storm because it does not matter it will only affect you. During my growing phase I did not feel like a relationship would be helpful as not going to lie I was living on a prayer. You there comes a time where you live sort of hour by hour or minute by minute. I am also a huge believer that you attract the person where you are in life.

  24. 231

Knowledge is NOT Power BUT POTENTIAL Power

Knowledge is only power when it is organized. When it is not organized, it is dangerous and almost crippling in your life. I am sure you have met someone who is a Jack of all trades and a master of none, and when people listen to them, they seem shocked that they have poor results. I am going to tell you why.

Have you ever just snapped? Has something so meaningless and pointless happened, and you just flew off the handle? Well, this is me at my worse after my favourite cup broke, and I think I lost my damn mind. But by the way somtimes you have to lose something to find it...I found my mind

    BLOOM| EP 3| Releasing Hostility

Releasing hostility is a vital step in achieving personal peace and fostering healthier relationships. Hostility, characterized by anger, resentment, and bitterness, can have detrimental effects on both mental and physical health. The process of releasing these negative emotions involves self-awareness, forgiveness, and positive coping strategies. Firstly, recognizing and acknowledging one's feelings of hostility is crucial. Self-reflection can help identify the root causes of these emotions, whether they stem from past traumas, unmet needs, or ongoing conflicts. Understanding the source allows for a more targeted approach to addressing the underlying issues.

  27. 228

    The Game of Life

This is not only my favourite Game but also, in general, life is a cycle. How do you play? And are you currently winning in the game or are you falling back? Life is a game, and if you play correctly, you can aspire to get everything you want.

  28. 227

    BLOOM| EP 2: Sewing Seeds

This episode is talking about being kind to yourself and speaking life into your life. How nice are you to yourself? Also, are some of the things happening to you now happening because of your state of mind? Negativity only breeds other negative events. If you do not respect yourself how can you respect others?

It features some storytimes of overcoming challenges, embracing change, and finding beauty and strength in adversity. Overall, this is a short, three-part reflective and uplifting journey for listeners seeking inspiration and insight into their own paths of growth and development.

    Meltdown

Let's talk about meltdowns because who doesn't like to talk about that?

  32. 223

Being Trapped in my Burning House of Anger

Anytime I hop on the mic and speak to y'all about some personal stuff, it seems to be peoples fav. Most of you know, if you have listened to the podcast before, I am very honest about my anger issue and the fact that I am addicted. I have cycles where my anger can not present at well, but then there are times it just floods out. I am gonna tallk about it.

  33. 222

    Pride Hardens the Heart

Nothing is wrong with being proud; I feel like today is replaced with the word ego. But sometimes, too much pride makes you too connected to things. Being tot connected to things and to emotions makes it hard to make good decisions, and sometimes, it makes you a know-it-all. Over time, this will cause your heart to harden, and you may end up like Pharaoh.

  34. 221

Protecting Your Time, Energy and Your Money

People can protect their money, and sometimes they can protect their time. But they do not preserve their energy. Are you feeling tired or emotionally burnt out? It is because you need to start protecting your energy. To achieve inner peace, you have to work on these three things. Losing energy and time always costs money. Tap in

  35. 220

    Be Difficult

I believe in being difficult because I think difficult people are difficult, and I don't mean negative or attention-seeking. The people who have to oppose things just to be noticed and remarked as "difficult." I am talking about the kind of difficult that creates change, you stand up for yourself, and do not let people walk all over you. The kind of person who strives for change, and gets branded as "difficult to work with".

  36. 219

    Identity Can't be Taken Away

People will try to attack your character and break you down until you are a shell of yourself. You need to remember that your identity is built around your character and your personality, and no one can take it from you unless you allow them.

  37. 218

    That Girl: Boundaries

I don't feel like I could have ended this episode without talking about boundaries. I feel like when you are working on yourself, you have to face this conversation at some point. What does it mean for you to have boundaries? Firstly, with yourself? Are you respecting yourself and your limits? Therefore, I feel like to be "That Girl," which embodies focusing on your health and prizing yourself, you need to work on how much energy you put into people and how much they drain you.

    That Girl: Finances

So, what exactly does it mean to be 'that girl'? She's not just about looks or style; she's about confidence, independence, and owning her life. And guess what? Building your finances plays a massive role in achieving that. In this episode, I talk about looking at your finances and becoming financially independent.

  40. 215

The Paradox of Mental Strength: Why It Can Be a Weakness

The importance of mental strength. It enables us to endure hardships, navigate challenges, and persevere in the face of adversity. Mental strength empowers us to stay focused, resilient, and determined in pursuit of our goals. But people who are mentally strong eventually break or have breakdowns because they carry everyone else's stuff. Is this you?

  41. 214

    That Girl: Perfume

A good perfume has the transformative power to make you "that girl" - confident, irresistible, and unforgettable. With just a spritz, it becomes your signature, leaving a trail of allure wherever you go. It boosts your mood, elevates your presence, and evokes admiration from those around you. Embrace the essence of confidence and allure with the perfect fragrance, and become the captivating woman you were always meant to be. I felt this would be a good episode for number 2. As I said, I wanted to talk about That Girl without really talking about about spending money. But this is about a confidence boost, an instant one.

  42. 213

    Ending A Relationship

Ending a relationship is like navigating through a stormy sea of emotions, fraught with uncertainty and heartache. It's confronting the fear of loneliness, facing the unknown, and mourning the loss of shared dreams. The decision weighs heavy on the heart, as memories flood in, intertwining with the pain of letting go. Yet, amidst the anguish, there's a glimmer of hope for healing and growth. It's a journey of self-discovery, learning to prioritize self-love and inner peace. Despite the difficulty, ending a relationship can also be a courageous step towards a brighter, more authentic future. On this one I talk about setting up the tombstones.

  43. 212

    That Girl Series: Happiness

Empowerment is at the heart of being “that girl.” It’s about lifting others up, amplifying their voices, and championing causes that matter. Empowered women empower women—it’s a ripple effect of positivity and strength that creates lasting change in the world. What better way to do that than to create a happier life for yourself? A lot of people depend on external factors to make them happy. But eventually, all you are doing is bogging yourself down. In this podcast I talk about what I did to channel my Inner "That Girl" starting with cultivating my own happiness. I went back to the things I like and where I needed to make space and time in my life.

  44. 211

A Cage Doesn't Always Look Like A Cage

A cage doesn't always look like a cage; it can manifest as a mental prison, invisible yet suffocating.  It's the self-doubt that holds you back, the limiting beliefs that confine your potential. Recognize the bars of negativity and fear, and break free by cultivating self-awareness and empowerment. True freedom begins with liberating the mind from its own constraints.

  45. 210

    That Girl Series Intro

For the Month of March, the series drops every Thursday at 12 pm Let’s be real—being “that girl” isn’t always easy. It means facing criticism, judgment, and adversity head-on. It means stepping out of your comfort zone, taking risks, and embracing failure as a learning opportunity. But through it all, remember that your authenticity is your superpower, and it’s what sets you apart in a world that often encourages conformity. I want to just talk to y'all about what you can expect from the series. I broke it into four sections where a person can begin a unique journey. Often, when this subject comes up, I think people think a lot about money and how expensive the "The Girl" aesthetic is, but it's not about the look. It is more about wearing the confidence. So, what does it take to embody the essence of “that girl”? It starts with self-awareness and self-acceptance. Knowing who you are, what you stand for, and what you want from life lays the foundation for authenticity. Embrace your quirks, your passions, and your imperfections—they’re what make you beautifully you.

    Reclaiming My Life

I decided to reclaim my life, realizing the importance of taking charge. Embracing this journey means breaking free from constraints, making choices aligned with my dreams, and shaping my destiny. Empowerment comes from within, and seizing control transforms challenges into opportunities, turning the page to a chapter where I am the author of my narrative. everythingcomplacentsayof

    Bonus: Kat Williams

On this episode, I wanted to give my thoughts on Kat Williams and the interview he did. There were so many suitable life lessons that it is easy to miss. While he definitely threw some shade, he also provided, I think, a lot of encouragement to the underdog or people that work their butt off and do not get recognized.

Failed at Chopping Wood and Carrying Water

"Chop wood, carry water" is a Zen proverb that emphasizes the significance of mindfulness and presence in everyday tasks. It suggests finding meaning in the simplicity of life's routine activities. By focusing on the process rather than the end result, one discovers profound insights and a deeper connection to the present moment. This philosophy highlights the transformative power of mindfulness, encouraging individuals to find purpose in the mundane and appreciate the journey as much as the destination. about

    Don't Feed Negative People

In life, prioritizing your well-being sometimes means ignoring negative people and, when necessary, cutting them off. Surrounding yourself with positivity fosters personal growth and mental peace, allowing you to focus on relationships that uplift and inspire. Setting boundaries is a powerful act of self-care, creating space for healthier connections and a more fulfilling journey. There are some people in life who love to be negative because they secretly hate themselves, they will always find a problem and an issue but will never fix it. Notice when you have a solution or try to fix it...they hate you now...You took away the only reason they live...Just cut them out and don't engage bothering u is there food.

Black History Month- Reclaiming My voice

Black History Month is a powerful time for black people to celebrate and own their unique experiences. Embracing one's blackness fosters pride, resilience, and a deep connection to a rich cultural heritage, contributing to the collective narrative of strength and accomplishment. It's an opportunity to amplify voices, challenge stereotypes, and inspire future generations. It also serves as a time to remember that black people are resilient and that we have fought and earned our seat at the table.
