This piece came about after visiting Lika Mural's memorial work "El Ojo Que Llora" in Lima, Perú. It is adapted from the second movement of an older work of mine, "Trio for Violin, Viola and Cello: Recuerdos de Perú." Performed live on December 4th, 2015, in Bryan Recital Hall, Bowling Green State University.
