Tsunami warning of up to 3 metres issued for Japan's Pacific coast

On Wednesday 30th July a tsunami warning of up to 3 meters issued for Japan's Pacific coast of up to 3 meters has been issued along Japan's Pacific coast from Hokkaido to Wakayama. This comes after an intense earthquake struck east of the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia. A magnitude 8.7 quake struck off the east coast of Kamchatka, Russia at 8:25 AM Wednesday. The US Geological Survey says it struck at a depth of 18.2 kilometers.
