He has garnered critic’s awards for Acting and Directing. Carl joined the retail industry in 1980, where he spent over 28 years. He rose from part time salesperson to Director of Information Technology. He has worked for companies such as Wherehouse Records, C&R Clothiers, The Walt Disney Company, and Smart & Final Stores. At each step of the way, he found that personal communication was the key to achieving goals. Not only achieving his goals, but also to helping his team members realize their goals. Toastmasters was instrumental in Carl’s decision to leave the corporate world and strike out on his own as a Speaker. Carl speaks on Leadership and Communication, Creativity for Speakers and in the Workplace, Retirement Planning and Probate Real Estate. He speaks to a wide range of groups: The International Association of Administrative Personnel, Walt Disney Imagineering, California Teachers associations, Realtors organizations across the country, and Toastmasters Districts on both coasts. In 2012, Carl was featured in the August edition of Toastmaster Magazine. They showcased his use of Theatre Games in conveying his message to business professionals.
