Summary

Even after we give our lives to the Lord, we still need to remain in a state of repentance. Saying yes to God salvation doesn’t erase all the negative out of our lives. So we must continually ask God to clean, purify and sanctify us. One of the things that causes us to fall short more frequently than anything else is the words that we speak out of our mouths. We have read that there is life and death in the power of the tongue, but we do not truly understand the strength of that verse. When things are going wrong, we must stand up and speak life when death is all around. When we are sick in our bodies, we must stand up and speak health and strength into our atmosphere. As we study and grow in God, we learn to embrace the strength of our words. Guarding the things that we speak allows us to embrace our primary assignment.
