The Box Elder High School girls basketball team opened region play last Tuesday night at home and came out on the wrong end of a 42- 36 result against West Field. The Bees may have still been shrugging off some of their Christmas vacation during the early going as the Longhorns built a 14-5 lead after the first quarter of play. Standout freshman Kenzie Bagby led the early charge for the Longhorns and was the high-point scorer in the game with 18.
