Prayer is a two-way conversation with God; sometimes, it can seem one-sided, where we are the only ones doing all the talking. However, reflecting on our lives, we may recall times when God has gotten through to us. Not in the conventional, spoken language but in the gentle whispers of kindness, a beautiful work of art, words from a loved one, or a song providing inspiration, guidance, and encouragement. God speaks back in subtle yet powerful ways we can learn to interpret. So today, Father Pat urges us to grow in our understanding of God's language because this allows us to grow closer to God, enriching our lives and the lives of others.
